Summary

What you’ll impact

The Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions across major platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role involves leading migration and modernization initiatives, developing networking, security, and automation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Design cloud networking including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPN, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, compliance, and access-control solutions.
  • Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
  • Design containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop disaster recovery, backup, high-availability, and business-continuity strategies.
  • Monitor cloud environments and identify opportunities for performance and cost optimization.
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with databases, storage, compute, monitoring, and serverless services.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
