What you’ll impact
The organization is seeking a Founding Engineer to act as a technical partner and de facto CTO, responsible for architecting and shipping the core web and mobile applications and underlying financial infrastructure. The role is remote initially with a focus on building the product from the ground up and making key technical decisions.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Architect and ship the core product: a web app, a mobile app, and the financial infrastructure underneath both.
- Make real calls on stack, architecture, and what gets prioritized.
- Touch everything, including backend, frontend, API integrations, and security.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Strong software engineering skills, especially in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- You're fluent in data. Storing it, securing it, analyzing it, and dabbling in ML when it's useful.
- Experience building production web applications.
- You could code before AI tools existed and/or you can still code without them.
