What you’ll impact
The Senior Release Manager will lead end-to-end software release planning, coordination, and production deployments while driving automation and continuous improvement of release processes. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Jenkins, Groovy scripting, CI/CD pipeline creation, and stakeholder‑management communication skills.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end software release planning, coordination, and production deployments.
- Coordinate across Engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
- Manage release schedules, dependencies, risks, blockers, and Go/No-Go activities.
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy.
- Support application deployments and release activities across AWS environments.
- Drive deployment automation and continuous improvement of release processes.
- Coordinate hotfixes, rollback activities, and post-release validation.
- Provide release status and risk updates to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 7-10 years of Release Management / DevOps experience.
- Strong Release Management and CI/CD experience.
- Hands-on Jenkins experience.
- Strong Groovy scripting skills.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS and cloud deployments.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Location: Jersey City, NJ
- Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days from office is mandatory)
